On June 9, 2010, Bureau Veritas inaugurated its new mineral Laboratory in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire in the presence of Mr. Moussa Dosso, Minister of Commerce and the Promotion of the Private sector in Côte d’Ivoire, of Mr. Kragbe Titikpeu, Representing the Minister of Mines and Energy and Mr. Serge Antonini, Vice President for Bureau Veritas in Africa. The representatives of the Embassies of France and Canada also participated in the ceremony.
This facility is the only full service mineral laboratory in Côte d’Ivoire. It will operate under the highest standards, with quality controlled remotely from Australia. Sample preparation will be conducted with LM5 pulverizers to reduce sampling errors.
Through its subsidiaries Amdel and Ultratrace in Australia, Bureau Veritas has the capabilities to support all clients needs (geochemical, mineral processing, mineralogy) for all commodities (gold, iron ore, bauxite, manganese, uranium, phosphates, base metals…).
